Crochet is a skill that every crafty person should try to master. It is not only good for fun but it can actually be used as a way to make money if you get really good. I was super excited when I started to be able to crochet. I don’t make any money from mine, but I do enjoy it. I managed to make this blanket after just a few weeks.
I followed some YouTube videos from a lady called Bella Coco. Bella was really easy to follow and I spent time pausing her videos and getting to grips with each step.
Crocheting is done using two hooks, one in each hand. The hooks are used to work yarn loops to create the desired pattern. There are many different ways of crocheting and people have developed their own styles which makes it even more interesting!

Crochet Projects
The first thing I made was a little turtle following an online tutorial. After that, I created a Mal doll from The Descendents for my daughter. I then went on to make my son a dog and then my Goddaughter a monkey. I’ve been really enjoying my crochet projects over time. I actually haven’t made anything for quite some time, but writing this now is making me want to get hooking again!
